- Electricity bill details and consumption history (monthly units, tariff, sanctioned load, DISCOM name and consumer/service number)
- Rooftop, site, or facility details relevant to system design (built-up area, shadow-free area, roof type, structural details)
- Financial and KYC information where relevant to financing, RESCO agreements, or invoicing (PAN, GST number, bank/loan details shared voluntarily for facilitating third-party financing)
- Photographs or videos of your premises/rooftop taken during a site audit or installation
- Any other information you choose to share via our contact form, WhatsApp, phone, or email
2.2 Information collected automatically (website use)
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent, referring website, and general location (city/region level, via standard web analytics)
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8)
2.3 Information generated during service delivery
- System design, generation, and performance data from AI-powered monitoring (Nextra AI), including energy yield, anomaly/fault alerts, and historical performance logs
- Net metering, subsidy, or accelerated-depreciation application data filed with DISCOMs (TSSPDCL, APEPDCL, BESCOM, etc.) or government portals on your behalf, with your authorisation
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to enquiries and schedule a free energy audit or site visit
- To prepare a system design, proposal, ROI estimate, and quotation
- To enter into and perform an EPC, RESCO, O&M, or related agreement
- To file net metering, accelerated depreciation, GST input tax credit, or subsidy-related applications with DISCOMs, tax authorities, or government portals on your behalf, where you have authorised us to do so
- To facilitate third-party financing (bank/NBFC solar loans) where you have opted for a financed purchase, by sharing necessary details with the relevant lender with your consent
- To provide ongoing operations & maintenance (O&M), AI monitoring alerts, and annual performance reporting for the life of the system
- To send service updates, billing/tariff communications (for RESCO customers), and โ where you have separately consented โ marketing communications

- To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from authorities, and enforce our agreements
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the DPDP Act, we process your personal data on the basis of: (a) your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time as described in Section 7; (b) performance of a contract to which you are a party (e.g. an EPC or RESCO agreement, once signed); and (c) "certain legitimate uses" recognised under the DPDP Act, such as responding to a request you have voluntarily made to us (e.g. requesting a callback or quote).
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only where necessary to deliver our Services, and limit what is shared to what each recipient needs:
- DISCOMs (TSSPDCL, APEPDCL, BESCOM, and equivalent) โ for net metering applications and grid connectivity approvals
- Government/subsidy portals and tax authorities โ for accelerated depreciation, GST ITC, or subsidy-scheme applications filed on your behalf
- OEM partners (e.g. Sungrow, Waaree, Amara Raja, Delta Electronics, Tata Power Solar) โ for equipment warranty registration and after-sales support
- Banks and NBFC financing partners (e.g. HDFC Bank, Tata Capital, SIDBI) โ only where you have opted for financed/loan-based purchase
- Our authorised dealer/installer network โ for residential projects routed through a vetted local installer
- Sub-contractors and service providers engaged for installation, logistics, or IT/hosting, under confidentiality obligations
- Regulators, courts, or law-enforcement authorities, where legally required
We do not knowingly transfer personal data outside India except where a sub-processor (e.g. a cloud hosting or analytics provider) operates infrastructure abroad, in which case we take reasonable steps to ensure an equivalent standard of protection.
6. Data Storage and Security
We retain personal data on secured systems with access restricted to personnel who need it to perform their role. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures โ access controls, encryption in transit where applicable, and restricted physical access to site/consumption records โ to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

- Request erasure of personal data no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g. tax, warranty, or regulatory records)
- Withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent (this does not affect processing already carried out, or processing necessary to perform an existing signed agreement)
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
- Register a grievance with us (Section 10) and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India
