Install rooftop solar on your home and get up to ₹78,000 in central government subsidy — plus net metering to earn bill credits for surplus power you send to the grid.
The PM Surya Ghar scheme provides a benchmark subsidy based on system size. All Indian households with a sanctioned DISCOM connection are eligible.
Note on subsidy calculation: Central subsidy = ₹30,000/kW for first 2 kW + ₹18,000/kW for the 3rd kW, capped at 3 kW. Systems between 3–10 kW are eligible for the ₹78,000 maximum subsidy. Additional state subsidies may apply. Subsidy is credited directly to the beneficiary's bank account after installation verification.
For homes with higher consumption or small commercial properties in the residential category, ARIA installs systems up to 10 kW. While the PM Surya Ghar subsidy is capped at 3 kW equivalent (₹78,000), larger systems benefit from net metering and faster payback due to higher solar generation.
